Auraled Aquarium Lighting systems was conceived in 2010 by Mark St. Clair and Robert Wood in their Norfolk, Va. production facility. Being heavily involved in the saltwater aquarium hobby they soon noticed a need for a cost effective solution to the high power, heat producing and heavy cost (bulb replacement) standard lighting systems. Through vast experience with retrofitting outdoor lighting systems with eco-friendly low power consuming, cool running LED's to the existing HID Lamps(400wt-1000wt parking lot lighting poles) they found the solution. Our Eco-Friendly 12 volt Dc current LED's run for 50,000 hours continuously or 5.7 years. 3 YEARS!!!! (Guaranteed) with no bulb change, no ballast to replace. Our LED's are 100% weatherproof with 3M Industrial Grade VHB Tape. All products are assembled in our Norfolk, Va. production facility and come with the PROUD stamp "MADE in the U.S.A." as well as being tested for a full 48 hours before being packaged every unit is inspected for Quality Control down to the packaging. If you spend the time and money involved in having a proper system then it is only fit we do the same!
