Chlorophyl, Coral, And Auraled.
Corals can change coloration for many reasons, but the most common and most dramatic changes are caused by the qualities of light that the corals received. Not just PAR levels but also spectrum directly effect the corals natural colors. A coral has the ability to adapt to different light levels. Coral contain symbiotic chlorophyll-containing cells known as zooxanthellae cells. The chlorophyll acts as a "sunscreen" for these delicate zooxanthellae cells. Both chlorophyll and zooxanthellae cells are responsible for the colors colorations and vibrance. professionals who grow corals and plants know that the spectrum(s) needed for good coral and plant growth are red and blue (green is not absorbable). Most grow lights contain these spectrums as well as a white light for a natural look. With Auraled's custom Red L.E.D's you get that chlorophyll stimulating spectrum to really make those corals pop out! Auraled is a first to supply that kind of coral boosting power for your reef system. Your corals will be healthier, more vibrant, and the envy of your friends!

Going Green, Going AuraLED
To my knowledge, L.E.D tech has been the biggest step forward in reef aquarium lighting systems for a long time, and a very exciting one. The aquarist with one of these AuraLED units not only has a very adequate reef lighting system with a number of advantages over metal halide, but one that can be adjusted to simulate the light conditions that a wild reef encounters. In addition, in these times of environmental concern and ‘carbon footprints’, the aquarist would not only be successfully growing corals but might well be reducing the cost to the environment by using less electricity at the same time. By going AuraLED your going Green!
